Company Marketing Website

Free Web App New

Every paid plan includes a full public marketing website for your company, hosted at <yourcompany>.findmy.expert. Pick one of three templates, fill in your services, upload photos, optionally enable a quote-request form, and publish. The site is fast static HTML served from a global edge network, with page-view analytics included.

We use findmy.expert as the hosting domain (rather than something excavation-specific) so the same platform can grow across every kind of contractor — excavation, earthmoving, concrete, demolition, grading, paving, landscaping, snow plowing, and everything adjacent. Your published site shows a small “Powered by Excavation Expert” link in the footer; otherwise the site reads as your business, not ours.

Owner and Manager roles can edit and publish. Bookkeepers have read-only access.

Your site lives at <yourcompany>.findmy.expert. The subdomain is first-come-first-serve — grab yours before someone else does.

Rules:

  • Must reasonably reflect your company name. Pick your actual business name (or a recognizable short form), not a generic keyword, a competitor’s name, a trademarked term you don’t own, or a placeholder. “Acme Excavation” should be acme-excavation, not excavation or concrete-services.
  • 3 to 63 characters, lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only.
  • Can’t start or end with a hyphen.
  • Reserved words are blocked: www, mail, admin, api, app, blog, dev, staging, test, demo, help, support, cdn, assets, static, media, img, images, excavation, excavationexpert, findmy, findmyexpert, and a few others.
  • Your company keeps its subdomain even when you unpublish — no one else can take it.

Three templates, each with a distinct aesthetic:

  • Professional — clean and classic. Blue primary, amber accent, three-column service grid on white backgrounds, rounded photo gallery. Default pick for most contractors.
  • Bold — dark and aggressive. Black background, uppercase section headings, accent-bordered service cards, tight gallery grid. Suits heavy-equipment brands.
  • Clean — minimal and airy. Light design with typography carrying the weight, two-column service layout with bottom borders, no background emphasis. Modern and understated.

You can switch templates at any time — content stays; only the visual skin changes.

Go to Settings → Website in the web app. Each section is collapsible; expand the ones you want to edit.

  1. Subdomain & Template — lock in your subdomain (check availability live as you type) and pick your template.
  2. Hero — headline, subtitle, and optional background image.
  3. About — paragraph of prose about your company. Toggle the section off if you don’t want it shown.
  4. Services — up to 12 services, each with name and short description. These also power the services multi-check on the quote form.
  5. Gallery — up to 8 photos, drag-to-reorder, with optional captions. Visitors click a photo to open it in a lightbox.
  6. Contact — phone, email, address, service area. These render as clickable links on the published site (tel:, mailto:).
  7. Quote Form — toggle on to replace the “Get a Free Quote” phone CTA with a form modal. See Quote Requests for the full walkthrough.
  8. Content policy — check the box agreeing to the content policy (no politics, profanity, nudity). Publishing is disabled until agreed.

Click Preview at the bottom of the settings page to open your site in a new tab. The preview uses the same templates and your current (unsaved) settings — no need to publish just to check the look.

If you have a quote form enabled, you can submit test requests from the preview to verify the flow end-to-end.

  1. Agree to the content policy (required).
  2. Confirm your subdomain is available (green check next to the input).
  3. Click Publish (or Republish if already live). The system:
    • Renders your site to HTML using the selected template.
    • Serves it at your chosen subdomain.
    • Enables quote-request notifications automatically on first publish.
    • Logs the publish event to your audit trail.
  4. Click View Live Site to see the production URL.

Published pages are cached at the edge with a short TTL. Your next publish propagates within a few minutes; force-refresh the page if you want to see changes sooner on your end.

  • Upload: drag-and-drop or click to pick. Images must be under 5MB each and a valid image format.
  • Reorder: drag images left/right to change their order. The order is saved on your next Save.
  • Delete: click the X on a thumbnail. The image is removed from your site and its storage file is also deleted (no orphans).

Every published page collects anonymous page-view data. The settings page shows a stats panel with:

  • This month / last month / last 90 days page-view counts.
  • Country breakdown — where visitors come from.
  • Daily views bar chart for the last 30 days.

No personal data is captured — just country, user-agent, pathname, and referer. Good enough to know which pages get traffic and when.

  • Content policy: no politics, no profanity, no nudity, no adult content. Violations may result in the subdomain being revoked.
  • Report abuse: every published page includes an abuse-report link in the footer so anyone can flag content. We take abuse reports seriously.
  • AI scraper blocks: the static site’s robots.txt blocks GPTBot, ClaudeBot, CCBot, and similar scrapers while still allowing Google and Bing.
  • SEO: the site includes proper meta tags, Open Graph tags, and JSON-LD LocalBusiness structured data so it shows up well in search.
